Booking more guests than the maximum

Hello,

I asked a host if he could accommodate more people than the maximum amount listed. The maximum was 5, we are 6.

He was very kind to make this arrangement for us and sent me a special offer.

When I try to book though, I get an error: "Please adjust the number of guests you’re bringing to below this listing’s maximum". In the drop down menu only guests 1-5 appear and if I click on an option, the price is recalculated. Do you have any ideas how to resolve this?

change the number of guests to 5, then send an inquiry a second time to your host and ask to 'send you a special offer for six guests, same as before'

host should temporarily change his settings for guests allowed to 6, so you can book or accept a special offer. special offer needs to be set to six. can only happen if the booking allowances are set to 6.
