Air BnB cancelled instead of guest?... why

Just recently we approved within 3 hours a booking from china. The communication seemed good. I answered all questions asked and cheerfully signed off looking forward to meeting them. 2 days later I get a response on my guests message board from Air BnB saying our guest no longer wants the accommodation. No reason or explanation, which left me thinking we had done something wrong for them to respond and not the guest. Is this an Automative response?

Sounds like it is the standard notice when a guest cancels.

The guest cancelled directly through Airbnb so you received the automated notice from Airbnb saying the guest has cancelled.  Nothing to worry about - just wait for your next guest.
