A reservation under a husband's name?

Hi there, I have found out that one of my guests has made a reservation under her husband's name, whose acount was set up but appears to have been inactive for a number of years, and now I have accepted it. However I would feel more comfortable if Airbnb had the contact details and verification of the actual person staying with me, particularly as I live alone.  Can I ask airbnb to get in touch with the couple...?  She is coming tomorrow!

For  - correct me if I am wrong - but I think Airbnb actually has a policy for reservations in this regard?

@Anna772 yes, third party booking is not allowed on Airbnb. You can contact ABB and ask them to cancel this booking and help your guest set up her own account.

You can also host this person but ask her to show you her photo ID and take all her personal informations or just make a photo of her passport. This way you will know who is in your house .
