A guest canceled and a new reservation appeared

Hi everyone

A guest was supposed to arrive on May 6 (in 3 days) - she canceled. So far so good.

A new persons' reservation appeared for the same dates as the canceled one - I am completely certain that I did not approve this new reservation.

It just appeared spontaneously.

Does Airbnb do that? how is this possible?

@Maya1  If you have Instant Book on , anyone can book your place without an Inquiry or Request.
