Why would a renter ask for my driver's license and the ages of all of my guests?

In several countries the guest registration is a legal requirement.

In regions without this law, some hosts who share their accomodation just want to know their guest's ID, in case of damage. Airbnb doesn't provide these details, for privacy reasons.

@Shannon1055 An Airbnb host might ask for your driver's license and the ages of all your guests for several reasons: Location of the listing, the host might have age restrictions or guest limits in place for their listing. But this must be disclosed that this information will be required, so guests will be aware prior to reserving. Hope this helps!
