tracking limited and shared assets?

Like many hosts, we have several listings but only a limited set of some assets.  Example?  We have 5 listings but only 1 Pack-n-Play (playard, baby jail), 3 parking spaces, etc.  It's very hard to track our commitments of these items when the requests for their use may be spread over several months.  I think these various shared assets should be available to "assign" to a reservation which would then make them unavailable if others asked (at least for the host view).  Kind of another item on the calendar but one that can't be "sold" by itself, may or may not have a cost with it, etc.

 

Thoughts???
