The guest says he has paid more than the amount shown on the invoice.

The itinerary shows the guest paying £340 and airbnb taking a charge of £12, so I get £328. However the guest insists he was charged £388 by airbnb.  Where has the rest of this money gone and why isn't it shown?

As a host, in the itinerary you can only see the host fees (3%+VAT). In his itinerary the guest can only see the guest fees (about 12%+VAT in this case).

Only if you use the android app you can see the guest fees on your itineray making a click on (?) close to the price, under the reservation number (sorry the screenshots are in french but can't change the language on the app but are the same in english):

It's the way Airbnb get paid and it's normal.
