Subletting (legally) taxes requirements in UK

II would like to know what are the taxes to be paid for subletting a flat in UK, having the approval from the landlord first.

It depends on many things, such as your current income (and tax code), whether you'll be renting  the whole place or just a room, and more.

Thanks Gordon, my question is more about the type of tax i would need to pay, for example, any business tax or just the taxes on the income. I am plannig to rent the whole flat.
