Guest not accepting a request to change reservation

Hi everyone,

 

My guest booked my apartment with only two guests but has another person joining tomorrow. Through messages, she agreed to my altering the booking to reflect this additional person but then she never accepted the change so her charge is still only for two people. I have repeatedly asked her to accept it but she says she did through our messages. She has arrived and I had to go to work and now I'm not sure what to do.

You should have contacted AirBnB and have them cancel the booking - assuming there is a security deposit, you should contact AirBnB straight away and explain the situation. They will be able to see the trail of correspondence on the site.
