'CONSENT DISAGREE' - Do NOT click that tab!

I was checking out the new vs old Terms of Service, which are apparently changing as of May 19, though I haven't received any notification as yet, I heard about it from another host who got the message.   Anyway, I clicked on a tab labelled 'CONSENT DISAGREE' on the terms etc page and got this message - See below

So, it seems by simply clicking on the Consent Disagree tab to find out what lurks behind it, you will be deemed to disagree to the New Terms and thus .. "Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use Airbnb’s website, mobile and tablet apps, accept new reservations as a host, or book any new trips until you agree to these new Terms".   Of course, the only way you can 'fix' the problem is by agreeing immediately to the new terms, rather than waiting till May 19 to sign off on them.

Airbnb, I did not 'chose to disagree', all I did was click on a tab labelled CONSENT DISAGREE, as I'm sure will 10's of thousands of others.  Before I make any decision I intend to review the changes.  Then I'll make my decision.

Airbnb, this is not cool, not cool at all.  Very poor form on your part for this sly little trap.   It's unnecessary, lacks integrity and does you absolutely no credit.

------------------------------------

Consent Disagree

You chose to disagree with the updates to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (collectively, “Terms”). Unfortunately, you won’t be able to use Airbnb’s website, mobile and tablet apps, accept new reservations as a host, or book any new trips until you agree to these new Terms.

Ready to come back?

If you decide you want to accept the updated Terms, just visit airbnb.com on web, tablet or mobile and log in to your account. You’ll see the new Terms again with the option to agree to them.

Have an upcoming reservation?

Any reservations confirmed before August 6th, 2015 are still valid and governed by the previous version of our Terms. So you’re good to go!

Be sure to check your email history for confirmation messages with important reservation details. If you can’t find the information you need, use the email address associated with your Airbnb account to send us a note at reservationdetails@airbnb.com. Our team will only be able to respond with information about your upcoming reservations and will not respond to other questions received at this email address.

Need to deactivate your listing?

As a host, you won’t be able to accept any new reservations until you agree to the updated Terms. But people may still be sending you requests, which is especially important if you turned on Instant Book for your listing! To deactivate your listing, please use the email address associated with your Airbnb account to email our team at deactivatelisting@airbnb.com. Include the phrase “Deactivate my listing” in the subject line.

Want to cancel your account?

If you’d like us to cancel your account altogether, send an email to cancel@airbnb.com with the subject line “Cancel my account.” Be sure to use the email address associated with your Airbnb account, otherwise we won’t know which account to cancel.

A follow up

I just logged out and logged back in again and there's no message about having to agree to new terms to proceed, so I am even more confused as to why this message is generated.  Is it leftover from the previous update?  What, if anything, is its purpose?
