pet urine

I am pet friendly I do charge a $15.00 fee at booking when guest states they are bringing pet. I have wood floors with throw rugs. Do any of my fellow hosts have a way to check if dog has urinated on the carpet and if so how much do you charge? There is a black light that pet stores carry to make urine visible, anyone use this?

@Kari27:
The black light usually works. If you charge a pet cleaning fee then you will be unable to charge additional fees for pet cleaning. I would suggest raising the pet fee so that on average it will cover your expenses. We used to charge $10 and we had a lot of people not notify us of pets so we raised the fee to $25 and now most people tell us they are bringing one.
