Tax number for UK resident hosting in France?

Can anyone help? Airbnb is asking for my tax reference number. I host a holiday home in France but I am resident and pay my taxes in the UK. Airbnb's system won't recognise my UK tax number and I don't have a french one. My property is registered in France in accordance with the law. I have contacted airbnb but they haven't been helpful so far. Is anyone else in the same situation and able to advise me? Thank you!

This is one for your accountant to answer @Janet1276  I an not sure how they might have set up your tax affairs so you pay tax for both your French and British income.

@Janet1276 I would have thought that French property should be taxed in France and then the dual tax agreement would stop you paying tax in the UK.
