All the hosts, if the guests requested for alterations of additional days. Please ensure they are the regular guests or someone you trust.As they might not pay for the additional days.
I recently received a booking for one day and everything goes as usual.
However, he requested to alter their reservation from 1 night stay to 16 nights stay.
They contacted me and I approve the request. Few days after, I get a message from Airbnb support that they doesn’t received payment for the additional days.
I contacted him personally and he promised will handle it, however they just disappeared and unreachable.
I remembered when I pass them the keys and telling the details, he just said they stayed here before, they know how’s the building works.
I think I might not the only victim in klang valley, just to let you guys know and be cautious.
They even didn’t my parking card and I had to pay extra to issue a new one.
They also broke my furniture and it’s hella mess in the house.
Just to be safe, if they wanted to extend their stay, ask them to book a new reservation again.
DO NOT APPROVE THE ALTERATIONS.
