Pricing

I set my base price and it is reflected in the current 3 months, however in June it reverts back to my old base price.  I did not even know that happened and it is during the high season to boot!  Why is this happening?  How can I fix this from happening again?

Hi @Carol-And-Greg0 Do you have your booking window set for 3 months into the future? That could be why. If you change it to 6 months, does it update to your new pricing properly? You may need to manually change your pricing - I've had to do that from time to time, i.e. clicked on the suggested price to see if there was an explanation for it, or just because I wasn't paying attention & then having the whole month change to that suggested (too low) price. Joy!! The calendar can be glitchy sometimes, too - blocked dates opening up randomly, etc. - so need to keep a close eye on it.

Do you have Smart Pricing turned on? If so, turn it off as Smart Pricing will pretty much always result in very low price settings.

Hope that helps - Karen

Check a couple of settings.  First, did you change the base price on the Calendar directly or did you change it in the settings?   Second, did you set up seasonal pricing at some point starting in June?  You will need to remove this as it will override your base price.  Finally, have you considered using Smart Pricing and making the lowest price you are willing to accept your "base price"?
