Olympics 2020 - reservation cancellation fee

Our Tokyo "Super" host has refused to fully refund our deposit for our 1-week July stay and instead is keeping half -- $3300 -- for herself and says too bad.  Airbnb refused to respond or help.  Our host charged us at least double the usual rate (Olympics boost).  We then begged to have our reservation moved to the Olympics dates in July 2021 with no penalty and let her holding the huge deposit but she said no, she hasn't opened up her reservation calendar for 2021.  I will NEVER stay at an Airbnb again.  They are terrible and their hosts don't care about the guests.  We saved for years to go to the Olympics - and I know we can't be the only ones getting totally hosed here.  Customer service is worse than how United Airlines is treating us -- and that's been pretty awful.
