I am tearing my hair out right about now...

My (very lovely) guest arrived last Thursday for a 3night stay. On Friday he needed to extend his stay to 6 nights (yay for me!). Money never showed up. I started calling late on Friday and again on Saturday. And Sunday Monday and now today Tuesday. Still no payout. (Lovely) guest leaves tomorrow! Completely running around in circles with various case managers, so called specialists, people leaving for their two days off yada yada yada. I have been precise in my complaints, haven’t used curse words (yet) and still no resolution. Has anybody else experienced this? It is embarrassing to admit that this is my only source of income and the payout was for food/groceries 😔 which (obviously) I have not been able to buy.

 

is there anything else I should be doing?

@Louise320, check your transaction history. Does it say the payment has been released? Because this happened last minute on a weekend, I would think it would take a little longer to make it to your account. Or maybe Airbnb hasn't yet released the funds because they don't have them. Maybe your guest isn't so lovely?

According to AirB&B payment is fine, it’s AirB&Bs tech issue. Transaction history is not showing anything for future payouts. It’s a complete mess and it seems AirB&B has dropped the ball. Multiple times. I am on my fourth “case manager specialist” right now.  My guest has also spoken and messaged with them. Very disillusioned and disappointed with their platform and their (very inadequate) tech support.

Thank you for this reply Stephanie. I have called them every day since September 20th. Still no payout. And my guest is also having even bigger issues. I am very disheartened and completely disappointed regarding AirB&B. $407.40 is obviously not a big deal for them. It is actually a very big deal for me. This source of income allows me to eat. 😔

@Louise320 you obviously had the place vacant after this guest which allowed her to extend her stay. What would have you done for food if she didn't? Having said that, I am sure this is very frustrating. Try facebook or twitter. They usually provide someone in CS actually helpful.
