Extra ‘service charge’?

Hi. One of my customers has said she’s been charge £175 for one night at my place when my price is advertised as £150. I have not added any extra charges. She said that when she went to book, AirBnB added a £25 ‘service charge’. Normally, Airbnb take £6.44 service charge off my £150 so I get £144 etc. In my confirmation email, it says that my customer has been charged £150! Has anyone else experience this ‘extra charge’ for the customer? Thanks

One way to see what your guests see, @Anne-Marie152 , is to preview your listing, and choose a date as if you wanted to book. Up will pop the price breakdown, and that always includes Airbnb's service fee.

It is a good idea to get to know how things work as soon as possible. You won't regret it! Read through the Help section. For now, just type "service fee" into the Help search bar, and it will explain.

All the best!
