Transaction from my account?

I have booked an apartment in Prague, and the reservation has been confirmed and I have contact to the owner. 

But no money has been withdrawn from my account. How long time does this usually take?

It happens immediately - are you sure you have booked and not just sent a booking request, which the host must agree/respond to?

Was Instant Booking on? And, did you meet the requirements for IB for this property?

Sounds to me like you have sent a booking request.

This just happened to me too.

First the money was taken out immediately, then we had to adjust the dates.

We did, and now—even though everything has been talked about and accepted by both us and our host—there's been no money taken out of my checking account. 

It's been a few days and I'm starting to worry.
