Does the cost multiply when traveling with 2 or more people?

This is my first time traveling with 2 or more people so I just want to be sure.

Say that you've already entered the amount of people you're traveling with (3 people total for me) as well as the days you're staying (3 nights) into the criteria. After finding a place of interest that is $130 per night, after cleaning ($20), service ($49), and occupancy taxes fees ($57), you come to the total of $516.

Would $516 be the final price covering all 3 people? Or is $516 just the price for a single person and that price would be multiplied per person making a total of $1548 to cover everyone's stay?

The first calculation would be more correct.  When you search for 3 people, if the host has an "extra person fee" it will be calculated in the price per night that you see.
