Children, extra guests, and fees

Children, extra guests, and fees

Thinking about changing my house rules based on some of the new policies and business practices of Airbnb.  Thoughts from fellow hosts?

* CHILDREN - We're childless and have never learned how to make our home safe for small kids, so it's not - trust us. Any children under 12 will be charged at $100/night.

Also thinking about adding something similar for guests requests over 2 people.

i have a reasonably priced airbnb that caters for 5 people max.  it is so reasonable i am being taken advantage of. so i would like to charge extra for adults and not for children under 15. as i would like to accept families for a reasonable price. having 5 adults in my airbnb for my reasonable price is going too far. how can i do this.

More than once, my extra guest fees were not added to a customer's charge.  When I look at what they are charged, they are not having to pay the per night fee but for one person when it should be 3.  This has happened a few times.

My doggies hate children.

I blame everything on the doggies.
