Cancelled booking - Where do the $$ go?

I accepted a booking, then realised 5 mins later I had done a double up with a Bookabach booking  - first time in 3 years I've managed to do this!

I emailed the quest immediately she was understanding and said she had already paid, could I bank $$ into her account. So I did that and now realise as I cancelled the booking on AirBNB I won't receive the $$$, will they go back to the quest?? Does anyone know.

I can't see a way to contact AirBNB to discuss, also a message fprm AirBNB to say because I cancelled it affects our rating??

Any help would be appreciated!

AirBnB will refund the guest the full amount and usually a bonus due to the cancellation, seems to take about a week so the only thing I can think of to do would be to ask the Guest to refund you when the AirBnb refund comes through, hopefully they will.

Cancelling has various negatives including your rating.
