Co hosting

Hi, I have a difficult situation in that I asked for someone to co host my property, looking after my property through airbnb.  However one of the guests was a repeat guest of which I found the original time when he came to my property.  However the co host asked him to pay him directly without me knowing.  Now the co host will not repay me back.

The guest contacted me and wished to know when to pay the balance and I explained the situation and said he should never have paid the co host directly.  But being fair the co host was working on my behalf.

So I am caught in a difficult position and the guest wishes to pay the difference.

Also the co host is still operating and even has a tourist site through airbnb!

Please advise

Hello @Louisa33

I am a little confused by your post. Surely it is Airbnb that the guest should pay.

If the co-host has asked the guest to pay them directly, I would stop working with them immediately and contact Airbnb as this is theft.

You need to change your account so the co-host no longer has access and then recruit another local co-host to help you manage.
